Job Description:
The Junior Sales Administrator supports the sales function within an IT Company by managing early-stage client relationships, assisting in closing sales opportunities and handling any administrative tasks that are assigned.
This role is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to build a career in sales, develop strong commercial skills, and grow within a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales pipeline by following up on enquiries and prospects
- Prepare and send quotes, proposals, and sales documentation
- Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and activities in the CRM system
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Assist in preparing sales reports and tracking performance against targets
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance) to ensure smooth client onboarding
- Attend client meetings and industry events when required
- Keep up to date with company services, pricing, and market trends
- Any other duties that might be assigned
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence engaging with clients via phone, email, and in person
- Good organisational and time‑management skills
- Proactive, motivated, and results‑driven mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic negotiation and persuasion skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); CRM experience is an asset
- IT Knowledge will be considered an asset due to company industry
Education & Experience:
- Post-secondary education or relevant sales/business qualification preferred
- Up to 2 years experience in sales, customer service, or a commercial role preferred
- Sales experience (even internships or part‑time roles) is considered an asset but not mandatory
