Job Description:

Our client is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Heavy Vehicle Drivers to join their operations team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the transportation of goods and materials between operational sites while ensuring compliance with all road safety, company, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport goods and materials between company locations and designated delivery points.
  • Load and unload cargo while ensuring goods are handled and secured appropriately.
  • Complete and maintain all required transport and delivery documentation accurately.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any defects, damage, or maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, and compliant with company standards.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and transport regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and deliveries.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure efficient logistics processes.
  • Provide a professional and courteous service when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Valid Category CE driving licence preferred.
  • Candidates holding a Category C licence and willing to obtain the CE qualification are also encouraged to apply.
  • Valid CPC certification.
  • Previous experience operating heavy vehicles in a professional environment.
  • Good understanding of logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards of work.
  • C1 license will not be accepted.
