Job Description:

The Junior Revenue & Accounts Analyst will support the Finance Department by assisting with revenue analysis, financial reporting, accounting processes, and reconciliation activities. 

The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring revenue streams, identifying discrepancies, and supporting the preparation of timely and reliable financial information.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing weekly and monthly revenue reports and supporting revenue analysis activities.
  • Analysing revenue trends, investigating variances, and highlighting areas requiring attention.
  • Monitoring electronic payment transactions, card payments, online sales, and other revenue streams.
  • Reconciling revenue generated through operational systems against accounting records.
  • Supporting revenue assurance activities by identifying anomalies, potential revenue leakages, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to improve revenue reporting processes and enhance data accuracy.
  • Preparing and processing journal entries accurately and in accordance with accounting procedures.
  • Performing bank, revenue, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintaining fixed asset records and assisting with depreciation schedules.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and audit requirements.
  • Performing any other duties related to the role as required by the business.

Education & Qualifications

  • Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; or
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
