Our client is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the IT Manager (Business Applications), you will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, designing effective IT solutions, and delivering process automation projects.

As the main point of contact for assigned business functions, you will develop a strong understanding of their processes and collaborate closely with department heads and business champions to ensure the business has the necessary systems and support to achieve its objectives.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Business Applications

• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the business processes and software functionality across a minimum of four departments within our client's organisation.
• Analyse, document and test program developments, business logic, process flows and functional specifications.
• Identify gaps in existing systems, recommend improvements and drive process automation initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison for assigned business departments, ensuring their application requirements are effectively managed.

IT Project Management

• Collaborate with business champions and stakeholders to conduct business analysis, define requirements and successfully implement IT solutions.
• Prepare, maintain and present project status updates to relevant stakeholders.

Systems & Software Support

• Provide first and second-line support for business applications across assigned departments.
• Deliver user training and support adoption of new and existing software solutions.
• Assist with software quality assurance and security audit processes.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively within project teams, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and supporting team engagement.

About You

Education

• MQF Level 6 qualification in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in ICT.
• Proven experience in business process automation (BPA), software application implementation and IT project management.

Technical Skills

• Fluency in Italian.
• Strong business analysis skills with the ability to build effective relationships with business stakeholders.
• Experience in process mapping and requirements gathering.
• Knowledge of ERP systems across Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, HR, Sales and Marketing functions.
• Practical knowledge of project management methodologies and the successful delivery of IT business solutions.
• Understanding of both traditional and Agile software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and their associated ICT requirements.
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools, databases and reporting technologies.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise work and identify effective solutions.
